The national 2024 HESTA Excellence Awards were announced in Melbourne in late August, with Nicole, Managing Director, and Rowan, Head of Complex Care heading over for the event.

The HESTA Excellence Awards honour leading teams and individuals from around Australia working in the Disability, Allied Health, Aged Care, and Community Services sectors. The eight winners, an individual and team from each category, were selected from almost 400 nominations, a record number of entries.

The Western Kids Health Complex Care Team was recognised for their outstanding work, winning the prestigious Allied Health Team Excellence Award for enhancing the lives of children and youth with complex and invisible conditions.

Rowan accepted the award on behalf of our team saying “this recognition validates our efforts and motivates us to continue striving for excellence, innovation, and compassionate care in our field. It acknowledges the dedication and expertise of our multidisciplinary team”
