Class Registration

Our therapists will establish a group according to their age, therapeutic needs and expressed interest. To secure a spot, we require a deposit equivalent to the first session’s fee. Full payment for the term must be completed two weeks before the group begins. Alternatively, we offer a flexible pay-as-you-go option for those who prefer it.

Cancellation Policy

Group session payments are non-refundable and apply to the full term of the group booking. This includes sessions missed due to non-attendance, rescheduling, or ‘no shows.’ Given our group’s term-based nature, consistent attendance is strongly encouraged to gain the program’s full benefits.

(Note: The Office of Fair Trading acknowledges the right of businesses to impose cancellation or “no-show” fees, provided these conditions are clearly communicated to patients or customers prior to booking an appointment.)

FAQs

What is an intake appointment for? Is it necessary?

This initial appointment is needed to evaluate your child’s fit for our program. It enables the therapist to understand your child’s needs, assess suitability, and suggest alternatives or additional 1:1 support if necessary. During this session, therapists will learn about your child’s interests and challenges to tailor the group experience, ensuring it’s enjoyable and beneficial. Additionally, it provides an opportunity to discuss the program’s structure, expectations, and address any questions you might have

Can my child still participate in the program if I already know they will miss some weeks or what happens if my child misses a session?

Should your child be unable to attend all scheduled sessions, or if a session is missed, our cancellation policy states that missed sessions are not eligible for refunds or make-up sessions. We emphasise the importance of regular attendance to achieve the most beneficial outcomes for your child.

How are groups formed?

Groups are formed based on age and therapeutic needs to create an environment where all participants can thrive.

Can I observe a group session?

To maintain a focused and secure environment, observation of sessions by parents/caregivers is generally not permitted. Specific arrangements may be discussed with our staff.

Are there other girls/boys in the group?

This will depend on the group itself. All groups are open to both girls and boys.
